Selling our house in Kildare was not an easy decision to make. We truly love this house (Irish Cottage) and the area we live in. We have lived in this house for 20 years through good times and bad. Finding a buyer that loved the house as much as we do was going to be a tough job. We painted, scrubbed and pruned the property within an inch of its life.
From the moment the house went up on the market there was a mix of fear and optimism in ours hearts. Fear that the house wouldn't sell, or if it did, how much would it sell for? I mean do we even want to sell? Where will we go and what will we do?
As it stands today, we have an offer that we accepted! And now the waiting game!!!! Paper work and red tape oh My! At this point it is important to remember why we are doing this!
